Ryzen 7 3700X is a processor that perfectly sits in between high-end Ryzen 7 3800X and entry-level Ryzen 7 3600X, bringing almost identical performance as top-tier but at a price tag that’s 21% lower. It is astonishing to see how AMD has rattled all the cages with Intel in just the last two years.
These powerful cores with a lower TDP translate into insane processing power but at a better performance-to-watt ratio. Above all, it is built on a 7nm architecture, bringing as many as eight cores and 16 threads. Coming from Ryseries, the processor brings along a base clock speed of 3.6 GHz and a maximum boost clock of 4.4 GHz. Hopefully Gigabyte updates their software to support the Wraith Prism better.With a TDP of just 65W, Ryzen 7 3700X boasts serious power and increased performance for gaming enthusiasts and content creators. So best option at this stage for me anyway is to leave the 4-pin RGB connector off, connect only with the USB header and use the Coolermaster Wraith Prism utility for full RGB control on the Wraith Prism. It defaults to the 4-pin mode and RGB Fusion overrides it (back to rainbow ring and white AMD logo only) Here's the thing though, if you've plugged in BOTH the 4-pin connector and the USB connector from the Wraith Prism to your motherboard, the Coolermaster Wraith Prism Utility will not take control. But you will lose that SYNC functionality with RGB fusion. When the Wraith Prism is connected to your motherboard using the USB header, the Coolermaster Wraith Prism Utility will have full control over all zones on the Wraith Prism including chase effects etc. When the 4 pin connector on the Wraith Prism is connected to your RGB header on the motherboard, RGB Fusion will control and sync the Wraith Prism Fan LED, but NOT the outer ring LED or the AMD logo LED (these will always remain at default which is rainbow for the ring led and white for the AMD logo) I also had these issues and this is what I've found from my testing.
